I didn't get into the finals of spelling bee.


I tried my best really. I know it would be very childish, to blame that the words that I had been tested on were hard, but seriously, that is exactly what crosses my mind now?

We were each given 5 words to spell, from the first person to the last person, and we go 5 rounds.
Attn: I only got ONE correct.
My first word, is a crap (french) word as I can tell, I cant even find it in my books, but it's pronounced, park-kay.
My second word was, kwashiorkor.
Third word was, fahrenheit, the only word I got correct.
Forth was labial, in which i spelt labiel.
Last was ventriloquism, in which I spelt ventriliquism.

I kept thinking, halfway during the competition what someone had told me .Like, he put me down in front of Wendy?
Wendy'll be champion.
...
Oh. And Yvonne would probably win second. Or third, or none.


And there I was, sitting there, thinking, his sentence repeating over and over in my mind and I kept praying and pleading, that whatever I learnt would have come out. Well this really serves as a great encouragement. -.-

It didn't.
I tried so hard, even though I told Wendy I didn't study much, but I still did put in my own share of effort.
I got Mrs Tham to do the words for spelling, spent free periods after exams to look through the words, got YongLiang to test me on random words, all for hope that I would enter the finals on 4th June.

After that went for dinner with Wendy and Chonghua at JP.
Saw Colin and Kero,Twice. Heh.
We crapped a lot, recounting back the old days.
Chong Hua claims that having a girlfriend is troublesome. x)
He'll get one soon. HA.
Went home at 10. Reached home at 1030.
Shall go sleep.
